Q - Do you do newborn shoots?
A - Not in 'posed with props and stuff' kind of shoots. However, if you have had a baby and want to get out with the family for lifestyle type photo shoot, then yes, I sure do.
Q- Do you do Maternity Shoots?
A - Yes, to a degree, I don't supply any "Fancy Dresses" and things like that. But if you are wanting some "Lifestyle" kind of images where you turn up in your own outfit and just want to enjoy hanging out with your partner (and the rest of the kiddies if you have them!) and we can get beautiful Maternity images of your growing family.
Q - Why do you only offer the session in the evening time?
A - Good Question! two reasons.....
First, it is the best time of the day for the light to be awesome for your photos! The sun is nice and low in the sky, it is not too hot so the kids won’t get sunburn and no one will be squinting due to it being to bright! Secondly, I have to wait for my hubby to be home from work so he can take over for me at home and feed and water our little kids :) .
Q - I like these photo ideas on Pinterest, do you do them?
A - Not necessarily. Please look at my portfolio to get an idea of the style in which I take my images. All families are different, and due to the nature of kids (fun loving and unpredictable!) each photo shoot will have a natural and unique way of unfolding. This ensures that the images will allow your family’s own personality to shine through.
(Unless you are booking in a Product Shoot. In that instance, please feel more than welcome to share ideas of what your after with me so i can let you know whether they are within my skill set.)
Q - Can I book in a photo shoot for my family and myself........ and my brother and his family............... and my sister and her family......... and our cousin.......... and our cousin friends and...... (you get the idea)?
A - I have done larger group photo shoots in the past and it is just not my style. I don’t feel that we get to really hang out and get beautiful, natural images of you and your children spending time together. When there are so many people to organise, the shoot becomes very posed, stiff and impersonal.
Q - Will you post my photos on facebook?
A - Only if you are happy with me doing that! :) I will always ask you upfront if you are ok with your images being shared. Most people are happy for me to share them, while others like to see them first and then decide if they are happy with me to share a few. Either way I am happy with whatever you feel comfortable with.
